Maz Chest Waffle – 2025
Details:
- Waffle will run between February 22 – May 1st.
- Winner will be drawn live on the May 2nd.
- A Live Video will be recorded for those who miss it and posted to our social media pages.
- The prizes can be shipped globally.
Entry Requirements:
- An optional donation of $5 USD.
- One (1) entry per person.
- One (1) item of your swag. If you have multiple items, feel free to add them all in your package for the chest.
- Must have 2025 swag to enter; the SWAG CREW Patch being donated back to us does not count.
- If you have already donated swag at the meetups in Japan, you can just select ‘Yes – At Celebration‘.

- Exclusive for 2025: A custom Star Wars Sashiko denim jacket, hand-stitched by Crystina Dupuy McDonough. It will feature intricate Japanese motifs and the Sakura Stormtrooper, this piece will be tailored for the winner to ensure a perfect fit.

Where do the proceeds go?
All funds raised will be directly donated to our charity partner, The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation. Discover more about their work here.
How are the winners chosen?
We select winners during a live stream using a spinning wheel filled with participants’ names. The wheel is spun to randomly pick the winners, ensuring a fair and exciting process.
What if I don’t want a prize?
If you decide you don’t want the MAZ Chest, you can opt to donate it to our charity partner or pass it on to another participant. Just let us know your preference, and we’ll take care of the rest.
What is Maz’s Chest?
Maz’s Chest is a small treasure chest filled with donated swag from our community, raffled off to one lucky winner. A small donation is requested to cover shipping costs, and any remaining funds go to the POTCF Donation pool.
What happens after Celebration?
Once we receive the swag back in the USA, we will review the raffle entries. You can check or message us to verify your entry. We’ll update the spreadsheet daily or nightly to stay on track.
How do I get my prize?
The winner will be awarded all the donated items along with a special plaque for the current year’s Maz’s Chest, courtesy of our sponsor, AM Customs (Ariel Martinez). After confirming the winner, we will reach out to them personally.
